Sidney D. Aaron, 90 of Wellesley, died Thursday March 7, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Israel and Ida (Halpern) Aaron. Sidney was the devoted husband of the late Helen (Weinstein). He was also the beloved father of Joyce Weinberg and her husband Steven of Framingham, and cherished grandfather of Gwen Altman of Hopkinton. Sidney was also the great-grandfather of Joshua and Caleb Altman. Mr. Aaron served two years in Italy during WW II, in the Army Air Corps. He was also a volunteer for the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain, as well as in Connecticut; providing rides for many veterans until he could no longer drive. A private interment was held in the Connecticut State Veteran's Cemetery in Middletown, CT.
