He was my great-grandfather and is not buried at Cedars Cemetery, but at Connally Methodist Church Cemetery in an unmarked grave. His wife is buried in Cedars Cemetery because her son had her buried there.
Thomas James Jones died right at the end of the Civil War leaving a widow and several young children.
There was no money for a marker.
