Age 75, late of Sheridan, IL, formerly of Lockport, Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at his late residence with his loving family by his side. Born in TN, living in Lockport for 35 years before moving to Sheridan, IL.

Employed as a crane operator for Ceco Steel and Thomas Steel for 28 years and retired from Special K Transport as a truck driver after 11 years of service.

Preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Survived by his wife of 52 years, Viola (McGreer); his children, Patty (Rich) Bailey of Lockport, Keith (Freida) and Kenny both of Sheridan; three granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Jeanette (Bill) Campbell, Geneva Stephens and Patricia (Michael) Wilkerson all of TN; and a brother, Clifford (Nancy) of Downers Grove. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Vitas Hospice would be appreciated.
