AGNES LECLAIR

Mrs. Agnes LeClair, 88, formerly of 2116 Jackson St., Two Rivers, died Saturday afternoon, April 1, at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.

The funeral Mass of Resurrection will be at 7 o’clock this Monday evening at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Russell Becker will be the celebrant and the Rev. Robert Rhyner concelebrant of the Mass. Deacons will be Ken Coenen and Willard Sauve. Entombment will be in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.

Mrs. LeClair, the former Agnes Taddy, was born May 9, 1884, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Nic and Mary Paln Taddy.

She attended St. Luke’s Parochial School and was married to Francis LeClair April 25, 1918, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. She and her husband operated LeClair’s Grocery Store until their retirement in 1947, at which time they moved to McNaughton, Wis., and lived there until 1976. They returned to Two Rivers for five years and for the past 2-1/2 years have been residents of North Ridge Care Center.

Survivors include her husband, three sons and daughters-in-law, Gordon and Lillian LeClair of Little Suamico, Lloyd and Ruth LeClair of Rhinelander and Francis N. and Jan LeClair of Two Rivers; two daughters and sons-in-law, Yvonne and Tony Shedivy of Sebring, Fla., and Donna and Milton Tegen of Two Rivers; four sisters, Adeline and Catherine Gagnon of Two Rivers, and Mrs. Frank (Ceil) Becker and Mrs. Joseph ___ Francis of Sheboygan; 33 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 61 nieces and nephews.

Seven brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call at St. Luke Catholic Church 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock this Monday afternoon. Memorials may be made to St. Luke Church. Klein and Stangel, Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
