Mrs. George Brooks of Whittier, Calif. passed away, August 28. She was the widow of the late George Brooks, one of the early day businessmen and leaders of Bazile Mills, Nebr., when it was a flourishing town.
Mrs. Brooks moved to California several years ago and had been ill for some time.
Among the survivors are a son, George, with whom she had been living.
