Demise of Howard R. Brown, a Well-Known Employee of the Reading Company.
Howard R. Brown, 347 North Thirteenth street, died of a complication of diseases, at the Reading Hospital, at 3:45 a. m. today, aged 55 years. Deceased was bedfast for the past seven weeks. He was confined in St. Joseph's Hospital for three weeks and later the Reading Hospital.
The news of his death was a shock to his widow and children, as Mrs. Brown was with him for several hours Thursday evening and he was in a very cheerful mood, and seemed on the road to recovery.
Deceased is survived by his widow, Emma A. (nee Boyer), and nine children, Walter A., Richmond, Va.; Morris E., James S., Raymond O., Frederick C., Ida V., Pearl E., Elvenia P., all at home and Mrs Catherine Pennock. Five grandchildren also survive.
