Fred K Schiermeister, 77, Ashley, died Sunday morning in the Ashley Hospital. He had been ill for a year and a half, and in hospital for more than two weeks. Burial will be in the Linton Cemetery.
Fred was born in South Russia on October 31, 1894, and was married December 30, 1921, at Linton to Caroline Serr. Survivors include four sons, one daughter, two brothers and 12 grandchildren.
