CAROL LIGMAN
Carol M. Ligman, age 68, a Manitowoc resident, died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 1997, at First German Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. Joel Otto will officiate with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
Carol was born June 9, 1928, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Edward and Malinda Broeker Buss. She grew up in Manitowoc and attended First German Ev. Lutheran School and is a 1946 graduate of Dr. Martin Luther High School, New Ulm, Minn.
Carol married Paul P. Ligman on August 19, 1950, at First German Ev. Lutheran Church. Paul preceded her in death on July 26, 1994. They enjoyed almost 44 years of marriage together.
She was a member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and John M. Tuschel, Reedsville, Margaret (Peggy) and Jeff Smith, Two Rivers, Barb and Al Peronto, Manitowoc; six grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jennifer Tuschel, Cory and Chad Peronto, Bailey and Josh Smith; one sister, Lois Buss, La Crosse; two brothers, Richard Buss, New Ulm, Minn., Charles Buss, Manitowoc.
In addition to her husband Paul in 1994, she was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Pearl Mitcheltree and Florence Loonstra.
Relatives and friends may call at First German Ev. Lutheran Church from 11:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service. The Reinbold &Pfeffer Fmaily Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is serving the family.
