Esther C. Luisier, 82, of 609 South 27th Street, Manitowoc, died Sunday, February 24, 1991, at Holy Family Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 1991, at 11 a.m. from Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Revs. Bruce McKenney and Jonathan Stern will officiate. Entombment will be at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
She was born September 22, 1908, at Pittsfield, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Albert and Martha Weber Neuman. She grew up in Green Bay prior to living in Manitowoc.
She married Earl J. Luisier on March 6, 1929, in First German Ev. Lutheran Church by Rev. L. H. Koeninger. The couple celebrated 60 years of marriage in 1989. Earl preceded her in death October 11, 1989.
She was a charter member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aide of the church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Irvin and Dolores Luisier of Saukville, Wis., and Ralph and Doris Luisier of Glendale, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Freimuth and Mrs. Anna Kirkoff, both of Manitowoc; and a brother-in-law, Clarence Luisier of Lena, Wis.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Ziarnik.
Friends may call at the Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The family suggest that memorials be made to Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church. Reinbold, Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home is serving the family.
