Alice Gunderson was born in Nidaros township of Otter Tail county, Minnesota on May 4, 1922 the daughter of Magnus and Clara (Moen) Gunderson. She grew up in Nidaros and attended country school there.
She was married to Maurice Anker on July 15, 1945 at Nidaros Lutheran Church. The couple traveled extensively as Maurice worked in Barnesville, MN, Fairmont, MN and for 25 years in Omaha, NE. In 1984 they returned to Minnesota and they have made their home near Clitherall ever since.
Alice is survived by her husband: Maurice; sons: Scott and Anthony, both of Clitherall, a daughter: Cheryl (William) Huntington, of West Virginia; Grandchildren: Rhonda, Marvin, Christina, Tommy, and Emily.
She is preceded in death by a daughter: Marsha, a son: Gary; and her parents.
