He was born on Sept. 11, 1930, to Albert and Barbara (Gemaehlich) Klinzmann at their home in the Burdett community. He graduated from Lone Star High School in 1948. Albert enlisted in the Air Force in 1950 and was honorably discharged in 1954.
He married Beulah Gehle in Denver on Feb. 4, 1955. Albert worked at Modern Floors for several years and farmed and ranched northwest of Sterling for more than 50 years. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church.
Mr. Klinzmann is survived by his children, Katherine Ottman of Rock Springs, Wyo., and her fiancé, Mike Larsen of St. Paul, Minn., Gwen Duncan and husband Timothy of Sterling and Mark Klinzmann of Sterling; sister, Dorothy Klinzmann of Otis; grandchildren, Jared Duncan and wife Ariana of Elizabeth, Deann Nicolaus and husband Tracy of Hastings, Neb., and Kyle and Jason Klinzmann of Sterling; great-grandson, Joseph Duncan of Elizabeth; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Klinzmann of Sterling.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and his brothers, Walter and Adolf.
