Malford S. Babcock was the son of Myles and Amy (Seagar) Babcock. Malford enlisted in the army on March 15, 1941. He served as an ambulance driver in the South Pacific. He delivered milk for the Illahee Farms before working for the Coca Cola Company. Malford married Ruth Janice Babcock in 1946. They had one daughter and four grandsons. Malford was a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan often driving in Boston to see a game. He and his wife also enjoyed property in Newberry, Vermont for many years with family and friends.
