Lydia Katherine Miller Allen Murphy Brown (1920-1996), age 75 years, died Saturday, March 9, 1996, in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Lydia was born at Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident. She married Herman Joseph Allen in Harrison County, Mississippi on January 31, 1942. In December 1948, Lydia married Byron B. Murphy (1919-1997), a native of Tampa, Florida. She married Homer Lee Brown in March 1964.(Harrison County, Mississippi Circuit Court MRB 54, p. 231; MRB 78, p. 416; and MRB 123, p. 159)

Lydia was preceded in death by Homer Lee Brown, her spouse. She was survived by Charlotte Alberta Allen m. Wilmont Havelin, a daughter, of Biloxi; two sons, Robert J. Allen Sr.-Biloxi and James C. Allen-Ocean Springs; Chester Miller-Biloxi, her brother; eight grandchildren; and eight grandchildren.

Bradford-O'Keefe Home of Biloxi directed the funeral of Mrs. Brown. Her internment was in the Biloxi Cemetery.
