Rites Held For
Mother Of
Local Woman
Funeral services were held Saturday at Bailey Mortuary in Haynesville for Mrs. America L. Cornish, 85, mother of Mrs. C. L. Sale of this city. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery in Homer.
Mrs. Cornish died Friday at her home in Haynesville after a long illness.
In addition to her daughter of Minden Mrs. Cornish is survived by her husband; one son, R.T. Cornish of Lafayette; three other daughters, Mrs. M.F. Caver of Homer, Mrs. Bill Smith of Haynesville and Mrs. Martha Arnold of Cotton Valley; one brother, N.S. Sheets of Conroe, Tex. and nine grandchildren.
