LAURIE L. PEARSON

Laurie L. Pearson, age 40, of Cato, died Saturday, February 26, 2005, at her home following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

The families of Wayne and Laurie Pearson would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have helped in any way during Laurie's illness of the past year. To the people who gave money to help defer costs, to all who brought meals over, helped with the children, sent flowers or gifts, stopped by for a visit, said a special prayer, showed concern, or helped in any way, Thank You! No good deed has gone unnoticed. Our gratitude is sincerely heartfelt and appreciated beyond words. We would especially like to thank the Cancer Care Center, Dr. Baatz, all the nurses, and Holy Family Hospice, who took such good care of Laurie. Laurie was loved by all. She felt this love from friends and strangers as she fought her battle so courageously. Laurie will now live on in our memories for the special person that she was. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Laurie's name to a scholarship fund, which will be established for her children.

Laurie was born on April 1, 1964, in Manitowoc, daughter of Martha (née Hein) Linsmeier, and the late Clement Linsmeier. She was a graduate of Valders High School with the class of 1982 and received an associate's degree in accounting from Lakeshore Technical College.

On March 3, 1984, she married Wayne Pearson at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Reifs Mills.

Laurie was a finance secretary for the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, Health Care Ministry, Inc.
