Yvonne Lorraine (Grenier) Corsini, 78, of Lakeville, died peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in her home with her loving husband by her side following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Andrew C. Corsini.


Yvonne was born in Carver, daughter of the late Lucien R. and Bernadette B. (Parent) Grenier and was a graduate of Middleboro High School, Class of 1953. While residing in Rhode Island, she worked with the Food Kitchen of Notre Dame Church in Central Falls and volunteered at Mount Saint Rita Health Center in Cumberland. Relocating to Lakeville, Yvonne was involved in Sacred Heart Parish in Middleboro, active in their thrift shop and parish outreach. Yvonne loved traveling with her husband and enjoyed many wonderful trips, which she shared with family and friends.


Beloved wife of Andrew C. Corsini of Lakeville. Loving mother of Lynn Corsini and her fiance, William A. Volpe, Jr. of Melrose, Bryan Corsini and his wife, Heather of Potomac, Maryland, David Corsini of North Attleboro, Stephen Corsini and his wife, Elizabeth of Newberry, South Carolina and Melissa Corsini of Demarcus, Arkansas, the wife of the late Andrew C. Corsini, Jr. Devoted sister of Carolyn (Grenier) Fuller of Middleboro and the late Irene (Grenier) Rufo-Vickery. Also survived by 9 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons, a great-granddaughter, many nieces and nephews.


Visiting hours are Friday, (March 22, 2013) from 4-8 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, (March 23, 2013) in Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre Street, Middleboro. The time will be announced. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.


Interment will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery.
