VIOLA L. POLIFKA

Viola L. Polifka, 79, formerly of 1309 N. 10th Street in Manitowoc, died Wednesday, 13 February 1991, at the North Ridge Care Center.

She was born September 30, 1911, in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Charles and Annie (née Supita) Hagenow. She attended schools in Kossuth.

Viola married Julius Nemetz on November 4, 1933, and he preceded her in death in 1943. She then married Ervin Polifka on June 6, 1945, in Manitowoc, and the couple had been residing here.

She was employed at the Manitowoc Co. and also in Sturgeon Bay for a number of years. Later she worked as a cook at the Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mabel and Jerry Klein of Manitowoc; a sister, Ann Dickert of Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Clara Hagenow of Manitowoc; a step brother, Harry Koldoff of Green Bay; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands and one brother.

Private family services will be held at the Knollwood Mausoleum with entombment at the Mausoleum.
