Cleo was born on the 19th of September to Edward and Orpha (Weaver) Twigg. She attended Muncie Central School. Mrs. Savage worked with Nordstrom Realty for three years and at Ross' Cafeteria for 10 years and then retired in 1972. She was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her two sons, James Savage (wife-Naomi) of Muncie, IN, and Tom Savage (wife-Rosemary) of Sioux City Falls, SD; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Cleo was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 54 years, James "Walt" Savage; and four sisters, Bonnie Keppler, Betty Minch, Velva York, and Kathern Kurtz.
Visitation for family and friends will be at Parson Mortuary, Muncie, from 4-8 p.m. Monday. Funeral services are going to be held at Parson Mortuary on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Holt officiating. Entombment will follow at Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
