Elsie M. Payne
FALLBROOK – Elsie M. Payne, a homemaker, died Feb. 8 at Fallbrook Convalescent Hospital. She was 90.
She was born in Weelan, Texas, and had lived in Fallbrook since 1936. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church of Fallbrook.
Survivors include her daughters, Jewell E. Gordon of Parker, Ariz., Jean L. McCook of Riverside and Imogene Towne and Bobbie R. Sanchez, both of Fallbrook; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Spitzer was to officiate.
Berry-Bell and Hall Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
