DONALD REBECHEK

Donald Rebechek, 76 of Quarter Road, Whitelaw, died Monday evening, March 27, 1989 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Mr. Rebechek was born August 24, 1912 in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late William and Mary Conway Rebechek. He attended St. Anne Parochial School, Francis Creek.

He married the former Loretta Kellner, September 14, 1937 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. The couple operated Rebechek Homestead Farm where they lived at the present time. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1987.

Mr. Rebechek was formerly employed at Manitowoc Shipyards and was a self-employed roofer for many years. He was a member of Catholic Knights Branch No. 86 of Francis Creek and Kellnersville and was a former member of the School Board of Brockville School. Mr. Rebechek was Assessor for the Town of Kossuth for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta; four daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Clifford Orth of rural Cato, Arlene and Donald Anderson of rural Denmark, Carol and John Graff of Quarter Road, Whitelaw and Ruth and Robert Griffie of Two Rivers; 9 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren, a great grandson, a brother and sister-in-law, Raphael and Catherine of Kellnersville; a sister and brother-in-law, Eileen and Vincent Koch of Green Bay; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Marion Kellner of Mishicot, Lucille and Ludwig Swetlik of Polifka Rd., Whitelaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Rita Koch and a son-in-law.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:15 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum.
