Edwin (Erwin) Reindl, 62, of Branch, died Thursday afternoon in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and 10:30 a.m. in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Rief Mills. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Reindl was born Aug. 19, 1915, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Charles and Barbara Tisler Reindl. He married Gladys Herrmann Aug. 1, 1942, in St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Following their marriage they farmed in the Town of Franklin until 1960 when they moved to their present home in Branch.
Mr. Reindl was employed as a carpenter with Burger Boat Co. of Manitowoc. He was a member of Carpenters and Joiners Union, Local 849 of Manitowoc and Western Fraternal Life Assn. No. 221 of Menchalville.
Survivors include his wife; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard and Sue Ann Reindl of Kellnersville, Robert and Sue Reindl of Denver, Colo., and Roger at home; a daughter, Bette at home; a brother, Matt of Manitowoc; six sisters, Mrs. Erwin (Julia) Lange, Mrs. Mayme Piper, Mrs. Mike (Agnes) Mraz and Mrs. Orville (Mildred) Skaren of Manitowoc and Mrs. Anna Fogeltanz and Mrs. Catherine Lensmeyer of Kellnersville and three grandchildren.
Two brothers, Charles and Emil and a sister, Mrs. Roland (Emily) Vieweger preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Saur Funeral Home after 5 o’clock this Friday afternoon, where a wake service will be at 8 o’clock by Father Haen.
