Warner Francis Moore was an Army Air Corps pilot during WWII. He flew B-17 bombers in Europe. One of his later assignments was as the Commanding Officer of units responsible for delivering manufactured airplanes from the States to Europe using female pilots, the WASPs. He often told stories of his missions & the convoys of planes flying from the US to Great Britain. Retired as a Colonel from the USAF.
