Thomas W. Tomlinson, 62, a longtime Red Hook resident, died Monday, July 19, 2004 at his home.
For over 36 years until his retirement, Mr. Tomlinson was a foreman with the New York State Department of Transportation in Red Hook. He also was the owner and operator of TnT Moving, which would specialize in moving items to and from Florida.
Tom was an avid car enthusiast. He enjoyed attending car shows and was a member of the Pontiac Club.
He served in the United States Navy
Born Belmore, NY on April 27th, 1942, he was the son of William and Helen Clanton Tomlinson.
Survived by one son: Thomas N. Tomlinson of Germantown, NY and one daughter: Lorie Tomlinson of Saratoga, NY, a sister: Ardys Cassella of Syossett, NY and a brother: Edward Tomlinson of Rockville, MD. Three grandchildren, Nathan Tomlinson, Jessica & John Taylor Holt also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23, 2004 at 11:00 Am at the Burnett White Funeral Homes, 7461 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Red Church Cemetery, Tivoli.
