ROGERS -- Betty Jane Gilcrease Campbell, 83, of Rogers died Feb. 3, 2009, in Springdale. She was born Oct. 25, 1925, in Monticello, Ill., to Steve F. and Bertha Laura Fowler Varner. She was a member of Sonora Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was an accomplished artist, enjoyed cooking and collecting dolls.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James W. Gilcrease Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Campbell, to whom she married in 1980; one daughter, Ann Duke and husband Jack of Pasadena, Texas; two sons, John Gilcrease and wife Linda of Waldron, and James W. Gilcrease Jr. and wife,Deborah of Winnfield, La.; one stepson, Corky Campbell and wife Debbie of Richfield, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Services will be 6 p.m. today at Sonora Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Williams officiating. Burial will be in Gilcrease Family Cemetery in Wheeling, La.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until service time at the church.
