W VA; "Casthran" Armstrong, 25, b. IN; Francis Marian, 7; George Morgan, 6; William, 4 months; James, 17, brother of William. Another son, Jonathan Maurice Armstrong was born 4 Sept 1882 in Audubon, Audubon County, Iowa (source: his delayed birth record). Catharine died 2 December 1883. She was the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Bennet) Harsh. Her known siblings were James J., George M., Rosa, and Flora.

Armstrong, 1894-1896, is buried in the Melville Township Cemetery.
