Bobby Ray Myers, age 80, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on March 18, 2013. Mr. Myers was a retired salesman for Taylor Battery and a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Howard and Esther Myers. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 62 years, Norma Myers; sons, Tim (Janet) and Gary (Deborah) Myers; daughter, Judy Myers (Steve); grandchildren, Andrea, Deanna, Matt and Sarah; six great-grandchildren, Whitney, Austin, Kyle, Nolan, Lori and Olivia; and sister, Doriscella Cox (Slim).
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1-8 pm and Friday from 10 am until time of service at Schoppenhorst. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hebron Presbyterian Church or Hosparus.
