Jonathan Paul Adams, 25, of Mexia, formerly of Abilene, passed away Saturday, March 16th, 2013 in Mexia Texas. A visitation will be held at Broadview Baptist Church, located at 2500 S. 27th Street on Wednesday, March 20th from 2-4pm. The family will be gathering at the home located at 709 Cherry St.
Jonathan Adams was born in Abilene, Texas to the parentage of Ricky Adams and Retha Hester. Jonathan attended the Abilene Independent School District all of his life and attended Jefferson Middle School and Cooper High School. Jonathan worked as a Machinist and loved his work, in his spare time you could find him playing a hand of poker with his friends and family. He loved cars and loved listening to music. Most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his nephew Hayden. Jonathan leaves to cherish his memory both parents, RickyAdams of Abilene and Retha Jo Elkins of Benton, AR; one sister, Santana Adams Price of Mexia, TX; one nephew, Hayden Price; and a nephew on the way.
Preceding him in death are daughter, Lylah June; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Elizabeth Ramsey; and paternal grandparents, Bobby and Gail Adams. In lieu of flowers donations can be made on Jonathan's behalf to the Ronald McDonald House. Service entrusted to Dove Funeral Home.
