ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS -- Mrs. Clara Smith, 74, formerly of this place, died Saturday in Vermont. She was born in Pennsylvania and was a registered nurse, having graduated from Jersey City Medical Center.
Surviving are a son, Charles A. Smith, Jr., of Annapolis, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Wright of this place and Mrs. Eleanor Richmond of Vermont; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Schaler of Long Island; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Flock Funeral Home, Long Branch. Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
