LORRAINE JEANNETTE (RAPPI) SCHMEISER
Lorraine J. Schmeiser, age 82, a resident of the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at the home.
Lorraine was born on Feb. 8, 1924, in Tapiola, Mich., daughter of the late August A. and Ina S. (Eade) Rappi.
On June 8, 1946, she married Clarence J. "Sam" Schmeiser in Marquette, Mich.
He preceded her in death on April 11, 2000.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law: Carol and Jack Pribek, Two Rivers; Gail and Bradley Kreisa, Two Rivers; Debbie Wilke, Two Rivers, and special friend: John Zeman; five grandchildren: Nicole Cisler; Jason (Michelle) Kreisa; Jennifer Kreisa; Saman-tha Wilke; Rachel Wilke; and two great-grandchildren: Jordan Cisler and Carly Kreisa. Lorraine is further survived by brothers, sisters, a dear sister-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
In accordance with Lorraine's wishes, private family services will be held at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, is assisting the Schmeiser family with funeral arrangements.
