Irene E. Schmidt, age 74, of 217 S. Francis St., Brillion passed away Wednesday, January 3, 1990 at Appleton Medical Center after a short illness.
Mrs. Schmidt was born August 27, 1915 in the Town of Brillion, the daughter of the late George and Caroline (Schmidt) Bastian. She married Wesley H. Schmidt on October 18, 1946 in Rural Brillion.
She farmed with her husband until 1981 when they moved to Brillion. She was member of the Rural United Methodist Church, Brillion.
Her survivors included her husband, Wesley, daughter, two sons & daughters-in-law, five grandchildren, three sisters and a brother.
The funeral was held from the Rural United Methodist Church, Brillion with the Rev. Forest Wells officiating.
