Ernest "Long" Stolzer was born in Weingarten, Missouri to Charles Raymond Stolzer and Catherine "Katie" Sewald. He hopped a train in the 20s and headed east to seek his fortune with his brother Os and a cousin. The others returned to Missouri later, but Long stayed, as he had found his mate in Zelma Brickner, a nice Perrysburg girl. He had 3 children, Suzanne Catherine (Launder), Judith Ann (Sundermeier) and John Charles (Vicky Walton).
