BEATRICE A. MEYER, age 89 years of Hillsdale, formerly of Hudson, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Drew's Place in Hillsdale. Beatrice was born on October 25, 1923, in Burlington, Vermont, the daughter of Glenn A and Theresa (Rausch) Wool. She graduated from Burlington High School in Vermont. Beatrice married Henry J. Meyer on September 5, 1943, at Burlington, Vermont. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Taylor Neighbor Group, County Extension Chorus, former secretary of Farm Bureau and attended Wheatland Congregational Church of Pittsford and First Baptist Church of Hillsdale. She loved to sing, write short stories and spend time with her grandchildren.Beatrice is survived by three sons, John (Deborah) Meyer of Jonesville, Frederick (Deborah) Meyer of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Kevin (Nancy) Meyer of Grand Rapids, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one sister, Alice Rose of North Carolina and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five sisters and one brother.Funeral Services for Beatrice will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Rev. Clyde L. Wonders officiating. Interment will follow at Leonardson Cemetery in Pittsford. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Wheatland Congregational Church.
