Their farm is in the Texas Land Heritage Program and is still in the family. Calvin Webb (Cab) Wallis was born in Rutherford County, N.C. on 24 March 1850 (he appears on the 1850 U.S. Federal census as 2-months old). He moved with his parents, Toliver and Nancy (Dycus) Wallace to Cobb County, Georgia, about 1866. Calvin died in Collin County on 10 January 1927. Athie died there on 26 July 1930. They had 9 children: Emma Lena, Robert Judson, Annie Mae, Clifton, Millie Ola, Maggie Lee, Nora, Bessie Lou, and Thomas Watson.
