Gene was born in St. Clair March 30, 1925 to the late Charles and Violet Barringer.
Gene owned and operated Barringer's Bakery in St. Clair for many years.
He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army,. He was a member of the first United Methodist Church, St. Clair, member and past president of the St. Clair Lions Club, a member of Evergreen Lodge, and a member of Troop #25 Boy Scouts of America.
Gene married Mary Nancy Havens on Sept. 28, 1948 in St. Clair. He is survived by his wife Nancy, two grandsons, Mike and Dave Dietlin. He was preceded in death by a daughter Linda.
Visitation Sunday 1-6 PM in L.C. Friederichs & Son. In state Monday
from 10 AM till service at 11 AM in the First United Methodist Church,
St.Clair.
Burial in Hillside Cemetery.
