Helen Mae Barbour, 91, of 406 10th St., Fieldale, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at her home.

She was born in Franklin County on Aug. 19, 1919, to Ottway Franklin and Emma Lesley Powell Barbour. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Roy, Sam, Robert, Percy and George Barbour; and five sisters, Vida Wyatt, Katherine Gordon, Mary Barbour, Nannie Barrett and Eva Varner.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Fieldale Baptist Church.

Barbour was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home.
