Nixon—Howard M. Piekert 54, of Nixon, died suddenly Sunday, May 29, while on the job at the Holmes Packing Company.
Funeral Services were held Monday at 4 p.m. at the Finch Funeral Home. Rev. Floyd Conner officiated. Burial was in the Wrightsboro cemetery.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Emma Piekert, two sons, Clarence and Lawrence Lee Piekert, a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Sessions of San Antonio, a brother, Boyd Piekert, a sister, Mrs. Florence Fellers, both of San Antonio, and three grandchildren.
