AUGUSTA, Ga. - John A. (Buck) Hadden, Sr., 58, beloved husband of Brenda K. Hadden, entered into rest Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Hadden is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Bell Hadden; a brother, James J. Hadden; and a nephew, Mike Chance. Family members include three sons, John A. Hadden, Jr. and Keith P. Hadden, both of Augusta, and Joseph A. Hadden and wife, Marji, of North Augusta, S.C.; one sister, Jennette Rine of Augusta; ten grandchildren, Trey Hadden and Mitchell Hadden of Augusta, Katelyn Graydon of Columbus, Preston Hadden and Anthony Hadden of Augusta, Morgan Hadden, C.J. Hadden, Alex Hadden, Micheal Hadden, and Ashley Hadden, all of North Augusta, S.C.; one niece, Nancy Chance of Augusta; and four nephews, Chris Roulain of Atlanta, Eric Keith, Ashley Keith and Clint King, all of Augusta. Mr. Hadden was a native of Avera. He was employed with Avondale Mills as an overhauler for 42 years. Mr. Hadden was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2005 at Poteet Funeral Homes South Chapel with Greg Glover officiating. Pallbearers will be Eric Keith, Ashley Keith, Louis Keith, Albert Fulmer, Bob Foster, and Doug King. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
