Grover C. Bever, 79 year old Waverly resident, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Monday, January 25 at Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
He was born at Narka, Kan. February 14, 1885; son of Simon and Melissa Jane Peters Bever.
Mr. Bever is survived by his wife, Eula; one brother, Myron of Narka, Kan., a sister, Phrana Davel of Boulder, Colo. and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Waverly Masonic lodge and the Waverly Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Neece Funeral Home with Rev.John Muir officiating.
Burial was in Waverly East Cemetery.
