Her obituary has some wrong facts: She and her oldest brother were the first two of this Schenk family to arrive in America and did so in 1883. On June 20, 1883 she and Johann (George) Jr. arrived at the port of Baltimore on the ship "Herman". She also was not born in Pommern, but in Friesenhause, Bayern, Germany.
She died of Apoplexy (Thrombosis). She married August Ludwig Littman on August 24, 1884 in Belle Plain, WI. SHe was buried on March 30, 1912 at Hermansfort which is Saint Johns Hermansfort Cemetery, Herman, WI

It is not a misprint saying a son Helmuth was born in January and another son stillborn in February. There are birth certificates for both both as they are listed as twins. One was named Helmuth born Jan 17, 1903 and died Jan 18, 1903. The other twin wasn't named and was born Feb 27, 1903 and died Feb 27, 1903.

August and Barbara's other children who passed early and are buried in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Washington, WI are:

There were four more unnamed children who died before 1900 plus
Michael Heinrich August Littman
Friedr Ludwig Heinrich
Gustav Christian Arthur Littman (he was a twin to Emma, who survived)
Bertha Ida Katherine Littman
