Married by 1838 Rev. David Beecher b ca 1816 Washington Co NY d 29 Nov 1882 age 66 y, possibly son of Capt. John and Martha (Posers) Beecher of Granville, NY buried Lee Cemetery. Rev. Beecher was a Baptist Minister who served in North Hebron in 1844. Apparently rode a circuit in Western NY, Pa, Ohio and Collins, NY before settling in West PawletVT in 1859. In 1872 served in Norway NY. Later in East Poultney, and Rupert VT.

WEST PAWLET, VT - The Rev. David Beecher died November 28 after a painful five day's illness pf pleura-pneumonia, aged sixty-six years. He was a native of South Granville, and had served as Pastor of Baptist churches as follows: Ten years at Collins, thirteen years at West Pawlet, three years at Norway, three years at East Poultney, Vermont and three years at West Rupert, Vermont. He was very successful in his ministry and was greatly beloved. He leaves a widow and four children.
