He was born on Saturday, 9 January 1926, in Santa Ana, California and was the only child born to Frank William Davis Sr., and Della Davis.
He gradated from Santa Barbara High School and entered the Army Air Corp in 1945 and was honorably discharged.
Frank was recalled in 1948 and thereafter honorably discharged in 1952. He received numerous awards including an American Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and a Victory Medal from World War II. He served in both World War II and the Korean Wars.
Frank married Dorothy Louise Slusher in 1949.
He was a dedicated 48 year member and Past Exalted Ruler in 1975-1976 of the Santa Maria Elks Lodge #1538.
Frank was proud of the fact that he had donated over 100 pints of blood to the Tri-Counties Blood Bank.
Mr. Davis is survived by sons, Lee Davis and Larry Davis, daughter, Linda (Davis) Barretto.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Louise (Slusher) Davis.
