Alden Walker, son of Samuel Walker, was born at Langdon, NH on Dec. 1, 1793. He married SUSAN GRIMES, dau. of John Grimes of Deering, NH and sister of the late Gov. and US Senator Grimes, of Iowa. She died Oct. 31, 1846 and he was married to ELIZABETH B. FISK, dau. of Dea. John Fisk, on Sept. 14, 1848. She died June 6, 1850. His third marriage was to Mrs. ABIGAIL (Stevens) McKEAN. His married life, previous to 1855, was spent in Hillsborough, New Hampshire, where he was engaged in trade, and in the manufacture of cotton goods. In 1855 he removed to Grafton, Vermont, where he died Jan. 1858. He served in the army, during the War of 1812. He had three children by his first wife, one of whom is a prosperous farmer in Iowa; another occupies a prominent position in the US Navy; and one daughter, who died unmarried. By his second wife, he had two sons...they were:
Charles E. (7/14/1849), and William E. (7/14/1849) TWINS.
