" Mrs. Mollie Childs Adams, 84 years of age, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L B Brown, at Howard Monday evening, November 18, following a long illness.
Mrs. Adams was born in Talbot Co., August 6, 1862, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Childs. She made her home in Howard with her daughter for a number of years.
Funeral services were held at the Howard Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon, November 19, the Rev W E Hightower officiated. Burial was in the churchyard.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. R L Brown and a number of close relations.
Pallbearers included Messrs.: R L Brown, (her son in law), Sam Edwards, Ernest Vaughn, Carson Parks, James Brown, and Hugh Perkins.
Mr. J W Edwards of the Edward Brothers Funeral Home of Butler was in charge of the funeral arrangements. "
