Mrs. Dieterich was born march 8, 1888 at Arbela, MO, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Chasteen Rainey. She was married to Charles B. Hawthorne who preceded her in death. She was married to Harold F. Cassel, who also preceded her in death. On Dec. 9, 1958, she was married to Bert Dieterich who survives.
Mrs. Dieterich was a member of the First Baptist Church, Chairman of Jefferson County Red Cross and an active member in numerous organizations.
She is survived by the following children: Earl B. Hawthorne, Mrs. Rilla Wall, Mrs. Louis Langhurst and Mrs. Elwyn Booth.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Frank Sawyer. Two sisters and two brothers are deceased.
Services were held at Fairfield, Iowa, November 2, 1969. Burial was at Wyaconda, MO.
