PAHRUMP, NEV. – Tom Maletich, 77, a native of Youngstown, passed away on March 13, 2013, peacefully at his home in Nevada.

He graduated from Ursuline High School and as a young man, Tom proudly served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the Robert A. Owens.

As a family man, he spent many years as a Boy Scout leader, having three sons who all achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. More recently, he enjoyed many years as a Master Gardener, volunteering numerous hours at Pahrump's local Garden Center.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, Annetta, he is survived by sons John, Michael, and Paul: daughters Christine and Kathryn; grandchildren Stefanie, Nick, Steve, and Dan; and great-granddaughter Baby Kate.

The family is very appreciative of the loving care given by Nathan Adelson Hospice during his long battle with cancer.

He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed.

Interment will be at Fort Rosecrans Military Cemetery in San Diego, Calif.
