She was born in Dillon County, a daughter of the late Walter Clyde "W.C." and Mattie Lee Collins Hardy. Mrs. Elliott was predeceased in addition to her parents, by her husband, Judson Rudolph Elliott; a brother, Jerry Hardy, and two sisters, Sandra Bryant and Marilyn Harrelson.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Russell (Bonnie) Elliott and Glenn Rudolph Elliott, both of Nichols; two daughters, Beverly Elliott Kelly and Sarah Melissa "Missy" Elliott (Roger) Lee, both of Hamer; two brothers, Gene (Marsha) Hardy of Marion and Mike (Sandra) Hardy of Marion; one sister, Rachel Powell of Mullins; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the chapel of Meares Funeral Home of Mullins with burial to follow in Elliott Cemetery in Nichols. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
