Dorothea E. Stefaniak, age 77, of 1505 Cherry Road in Manitowoc, died Thursday, August 21, 1997, at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Dorothea was born October 30, 1919, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late William and Katherine (née Mott) Raih, Sr.
On October 5, 1940, she married Clarence Stefaniak in Manitowoc.
Many years ago Dorothea performed as a roller skater with the Billy Schultz Circus. She is a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence two children, Robert (Monica) Sefaniak and Suzanna Pfeiffer, all of Milwaukee; one brother, William (Erna) Raih, Jr., of Manitowoc; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
