Born Jan. 17, 1919, in Ruhl, Maryland, he was a son of the late A.J. and Mary Stiffler Lloyd.

An Air Force veteran of World War II, Mr. Lloyd served with the 15th Air Force, flying B-42 bombers in the European-African Theater.

A graduate of Ohio State University, he retired in 1989 as a sales and plant manager for Custom Molds and Plastics in Winterstown.

He attended Grace United Methodist Church, Wellsville.

A life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7012, New Freedom, Mr. Lloyd was a member of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Ohio and Triangle Lodge 728 as well as American Association of Retired Persons.

He is survived by his wife, Jean I. Urich Lloyd; a daughter, Sandra K. Ness of Glenn Rock; a stepdaughter, Linda J. Enterline of Wellsville; a brother, Wilmer Lloyd of Trout Run; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, with the Rev. William F. Gettins officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Joseph Geesey Memorial Cemetery, Shrewsberry, York County.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
