"Alice May DeVore, 73, of Reno, Nevada and Georgetown, was dead on arrival April 5 at a local hospital. She died from natural causes.

Mrs. DeVore was born in Nashville, El Dorado County. She was a housewife.

Mrs. DeVore was a 50 year member of the Mt Fern Chapter, O.E.S. and Native Daughter of the Golden West.

She is survived by her husband George G. DeVore of Reno, Nevada; mother of George W. DeVore of San Francisco and Dorothy D. Gravelle of Fair Oaks; and three grandchildren and seven great grandchildreb and numerous relatives in El Dorado County.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 7 at the Georgetown Community Churchunder the direction of Chapel of the Pines. The Rev. John R. Wilkins of Georgetown Community Church, conducted the services. Interment was at the Georgetown Pioneer Cemetery."

"Alice M. DeVore, 74, formerly a resident of 4971 Catalina Drive, died Thursday in California where she was receiving medical treatment.

She was born May 2, 1899 in Georgetown, Calif.

Mrs. DeVore taught for many years at Mary S. Doten School in Reno.

Her husband George worked for the Sierra Pacific Power Company for many years.

Survivors include her husband of Reno, stepdaughter, Dorothy Gravelle and stepson George W. (Bill) DeVore, both formerly of Reno.

Funeral arrangements are pending."

Unknown if her husband is buried here or in Reno. He was born 16 Frb 1886 and died in Apr 1974 in Reno or Sacramento.
