Funeral services for Elmer Dixon (Pat) Bales of Judsonia were held at 3 p.m. today, December 21, at the chapel of Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Yandell officiating.

Organist Miss Marion Schwartz played "Whispering Hope" for the service.

Pallbearers were Bruce Sherrod, Herb Allen, Leonard Simpson, J. T.Langley, Mokey Schois [This name may be misspelled.] and Bob Davis.

Interment followed at the Oaklawn Cemetery by Daniel Funeral Service.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Christiana Wheeler Bales of Judsonia; one daughter, Mrs. Beverly Sauer of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Mrs. Rachel McWator [sic, McWhortor] of Missouri and two grandchildren.
